PGSB is a subsidiary of Prestar Resources Berhad (PRB) [198401010527 (123066-A)], a listed company on the Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange with subsidiary companies specializing in steel related industry.

Incorporated in 1994, PGSB was initially a joint-venture company between PRB and Zelleco (M) Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of MRCB. It has subsequently become the wholly owned subsidiary of PRB after the successful acquisition of the remaining 65% shareholdings from Zelleco in August, 2000.

PGSB has two major division services

Hot dip galvanizing service
Powder coating service

For galvanizing, our major market are pipe makers, fabricators and others. In this endeavour, we are also an ISO 9001:2015 accredited company.

As for powder coating, we have two subsidiary companies as our major customers as well as other customers from engineering and racking systems and furniture industries.
